About & methodology
How AllergyCalc is built: every formula, dose, and pathway is tied to a primary source, citation PMIDs are verified in the build, and each calculator is unit-tested against worked examples transcribed from the cited source. 100% on-device.
How content is sourced
Every formula, threshold, dose, and algorithm is tied to its primary source: a guideline, classification system, or pivotal study. Citations carry PMIDs, and those PMIDs are efetch-verified against PubMed in the build pipeline.
How calculators are verified
Each calculator ships with worked examples transcribed from the cited source. Those examples run as unit tests; a calculator that disagrees with its source fails the build.
Evidence tiers
Validated instrument, Guideline-derived, Expert consensus, and Editorial synthesis. Expert-consensus and editorial-synthesis tools carry a visible "decision support, not validated" banner.
Privacy
AllergyCalc runs entirely in your browser. No patient data is stored or transmitted, and it works offline once loaded.
Clinician decision support. Verify against the cited source. Not a substitute for clinical judgment. 100% on-device; no patient data is stored or transmitted.
